Modern singing
Modern singing encompasses styles that have emerged from pop, jazz, soul and contemporary music. Training combines vocal technique with work on style, interpretation and microphone use.
We offer one-to-one lessons for all levels and with a flexible timetable.

We offer three pathways of music education for our students:
Official qualifications
We prepare students for entrance exams to the country's main conservatoires of music, for both intermediate and higher education degrees.
Trinity College
As an official Trinity examination centre, we offer our students the opportunity to gain an internationally recognised certificate that proves their musical level.
Individual plan
We welcome students of all ages and all levels. For their personal development, we offer individual music tuition plans.
Festivals and concerts
Playing in public is the best learning experience.
For this reason, all our students have the opportunity to take part in festivals and concerts organised each year in order to put into practice everything they have learned in the classroom.

We accept singing students from the age of 5. At early ages, the work focuses on the ear, pitch and vocal play, never forcing the voice.
The basic technique is common: breathing, support and placement are worked on in both. The repertoire, the use of resonance and the relationship with the microphone change. Modern singing aims for a more speech-like emission and allows stylistic devices that classical does not contemplate.
Yes, and they are not incompatible. In fact, many modern-style singers benefit from a classical technical foundation.
Yes, with no age limit. Before starting, we have a personal interview to listen to your voice and find out about your goals, and from there we design a programme tailored to you.
Yes. Microphone technique is part of modern singing: distance, dynamics and breath control change compared to acoustic singing.
The repertoire is chosen jointly by teacher and pupil. Working on songs that motivate accelerates learning, provided they are suited to the level and voice type.
Classes are also open to singer-songwriters. In addition, the Academy offers subjects in the fundamentals of composition and harmony that can be taken in parallel.
Vocal technique and repertoire classes are individual. The vocal ensemble and theoretical subjects are taught in groups, with a fixed timetable.
We teach music in four languages: Spanish, Catalan, Russian and English. Each student can receive their lessons in the language they find most comfortable, subject to teacher availability.

The Academy is part of a broader cultural centre. We offer language and art courses, as well as a programme open to the whole family.
