Aleksandra Karginova

Piano, singing, music theory and jazz improvisation

Trained in piano at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow, after passing through the Tchaikovsky Music College and the Chelyabinsk Institute of Culture and Arts. During those years she began composing and developing her career as a jazz singer, combining classical piano with vocal training.

She later moved to South America to study jazz vocal improvisation with Bob Stoloff and vocal technique with Eleonora Bianchini at the Quito Institute of Contemporary Music, associated with Berklee. She has been a pianist and singer in salsa, flamenco and jazz ensembles, and has been dedicated to teaching singing, piano and music theory since 2007. She joined the Academy in 2024.
