Russian classes

We teach Russian as a foreign language to children and adults, from beginner to advanced level. Classes are aimed at Spanish and Catalan speakers starting from scratch or returning to the language, and are taught by native Russian teachers. Small groups and flexible scheduling.

Face to face classes

At our centre on Carrer de Provença, in the heart of Barcelona. Small groups ensure close contact with the teacher and fellow students.

Online classes

The same syllabus and the same faculty, wherever you are. A practical option if you live outside Barcelona or your schedule doesn't allow in-person classes.

You can combine both modalities throughout the course.

Why study languages with us?

01
Real-world practice outside the classroom
You'll have conversations with native speakers and students from different backgrounds during school activities, not just in class.
02
Access to cultural programming
Concerts, exhibitions and festivals are included for all students, with language integrated into the context.
03
A multicultural environment
You share a space with music, dance and art students from different countries. The cross-cultural exchange is constant.
04
Native-speaking teaching staff
All classes are taught by native teachers, complete with authentic accent, turns of phrase and cultural references.

Frequently asked questions

Do you need to know any Russian to get started?

No. We have beginner-level groups that start with the Cyrillic alphabet and pronunciation. We also accept students with prior knowledge: before joining, you'll take a placement test to find the right group.

Are the lessons in groups or one-to-one?

We offer both options. The groups are small, allowing for plenty of speaking practice. One-to-one lessons are available if you need a specific schedule or a different pace to group lessons.

Can the classes be done online?

Yes. The online course follows the same syllabus and is taught by the same teachers as the face-to-face course, and you can combine the two throughout the academic year.

Who teaches the classes?

Native Russian teaching staff. Beyond the language itself, they provide cultural context: references, turns of phrase and authentic usage that do not appear in textbooks.

When can I start?

Enrolment is open all year round. You can join at any point during the course: we'll conduct a placement test beforehand to place you in the appropriate group.

In which language are the lessons taught?

The teaching staff are native Russian speakers, and at early stages, explanations are given in Spanish or Catalan. As students progress, lessons are conducted increasingly in Russian.
