Raúl Sandín Bañuelos

Guitar and music theory

Born in Mexico City, he obtained a degree in concert guitar from the Higher School of Music of the National Institute of Fine Arts and completed a master's degree in Aesthetics and Musical Creativity at the University of Valencia. He has been awarded prizes by the Helenic Cultural Centre and UNAM, and was a finalist in the Catalonia Young Musicians Competition.

She combines the concert with research: since 2020 she has been recovering the work of forgotten female composers and in 2022 she made known for the first time the compositions of Conxita Badia. She coordinates the series Guitar Surround at the CC Pere Pruna since 2019. He has taught in music schools in Ripollet, Badalona and Barcelona, and joined the Academy in 2026.
