Marina Sipchenko Davydkova

Musicologist and pianist, Doctor of Cultural Sciences. Born in Tomsk, she studied at the Novosibirsk Conservatory and earned her doctorate from the Tomsk State University and the Kemerovo Academy of Music. She later completed a second doctorate at the University of Girona. Between 1982 and 2003, she was a pianist and musicologist at the Tomsk State Philharmonic, serving as its artistic director for seven years. As a performer, she has toured with Russian symphony orchestras throughout Germany, France, the United States, Norway, Poland, Hungary, Austria, and Spain.

She has lived in Barcelona since 2003. She has been a professor at the Conservatori Superior del Liceu and in the Master's program at the University of Barcelona Music as an Interdisciplinary Art. She is an author of articles and books on music and culture, and has given lectures at universities throughout Catalonia. Since 2012, she has served as president of the Sodruzhestvo Association and directs the Academy as its founder.
