Yulian Gogu

Flute, arrangements and composition bases

Born in Chisinau, he graduated from the State Conservatory of Moldova in flute and chamber music, and furthered his studies with A. Korneev at the Moscow Conservatory and G. Nikitin at the St Petersburg Conservatory. He was a soloist with the Moldova RTV Symphony Orchestra for ten years and collaborated with the Philharmonic and the National Opera and Ballet Theatre, touring Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Romania, Germany and Spain.

Member of the Association of Composers of Moldova since 1996, he has taken part in contemporary music festivals all over Europe. He has lived in Spain since 2002, where he works as a flautist, arranger and composer, and has amassed over fifteen years of teaching experience.
